I LOVE FALL. It’s so pretty and I love sweater weather. Bud Miller Park is so gorgeous when all the leaves start changing color.
Amateur photographers at work…! These are sadly the best photos I have of this school field trip to the petting zoo outside of Lloydminster. I have some lovely memories of this place and all the cool animals I got to see on the trips I took out here. I chased chickens in the rain in Grade 1, much to my classmates’ aversion. I played with kittens in their little house on multiple occasions. I fed the baby goats as they jumped around on logs and crashed into each other. I held Peanut the snake, as this terrible photo captured.
We had a great campsite, but there was a family of crows living up a tree – they were really noisy but also entertained us when they were falling around learning to fly. We went to Steele Narrows one day to learn a little bit and see how pretty it is there. There was lots of wildlife and the lake is great for fishing and water sports.
